Sally's Corn Bread
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
1 c Lamb's Corn Meal
1c Lamb's All Purpose Gluten Free Flour (If you don't each gluten free you can use white flour)
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter milk
1/2 c sour cream
1 T and 1 t Baking Powder
1 t salt Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 pan. Pour in Oil, eggs, butter milk, and sour cream into a bowl and beat with spoon. Add all try ingredients. Beat for about 50 strokes. Pour into greased pan. Place in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until top is golden brown and firm to the touch. Serve with butter.
You can add 1/2 can of cream corn and 1/2 can of green chiles for southwest style corn bread. |
