Sally's Sassy Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:
2 LBS STEW BEEF CUT INTO 1-INCH PIECES
1/2 CUP RED WINE
1 1-3/8 OZ. ENVELOPE DRY ONION SOUP MIX
1 10-1/2 OZ. CAN CREAM OF MUSHROOM
½ cup Sally's Mild Salsa
For a gluten free option, use 1T dry minced onion, 1 t. onion powder, 1 t garlic powder and 1/4 t chili powder in place of the onion soup mix. Be sure to check the cream of soup label for gluten free ingredients. Instructions:
COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS IN CROCKPOT. STIR TOGETHER WELL. COVER AND COOK ON LOW 8-10 HOURS. (HIGH 3-4 HOURS) SERVE OVER RICE OR NOODLES. THIS RECIPE MAY BE DOUBLED. |
