Title Sally's Beef Stew
Description

Nothing like stew to warm the inners.

Ingredients:

2 pounds stewing beef, cubed

2 T Butter

2-3 carrots, sliced

1 onion, chopped

3 large potatoes, cubed

3 ribs celery, sliced

10 3/4 oz can tomato soup

1 soup can water

1 t salt

dash of pepper

2 T cider vinegar

1 4 oz can mushrooms

1 bay leaf

Directions:

1. In a large skillet brown ground beef and onions in butter.  Drain off fat.

2.  Combine in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart crockery cooker.

3.  Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 10 or on high-heat setting for 5 hours. 

4.  Serve with a nice salad and homemade bread.

Number of Servings:

5-6 servings

Preparation Time:

30 minutes (but don't forget the crock pot cooking time)
